Red Go-Cart started in 1996 as a small home recording project by Tomomi and Yuji Usui. This later evolved into a band, whose jangly and energetic performances gained them fans worldwide. RGC is still active today.

Just yesterday I was thinking about how I wished this compilation was on Bandcamp, and now here it is! Red Go-Cart's great compilation, "Very Beginning of Red Go-Cart", has been re-released by Clover Records. These songs were recorded around 1996-97 and remastered by Masato Saito in 2023. The sound quality great! This release has been split into two volumes for convienience. Vol. 1 contains all tracks from RGC's cassette EP's (both available seprerately on Bandcamp) and Vol. 2 contains demo tracks and cover songs. "Pop Song" has been stuck in my head for days!
